More about me
My name is Lindsay Bischoff. I grew up in St. Leon, a small town in Indiana that's only about 10 minutes away from the Ohio border and the suburbs of Cincinnati, and where the most exciting attractions are a Skyline and the occasional Friday night football game. The hardest part about living in a small town, where the majority of my neighbors are cornfields, is trying to describe it to strangers. Most of the time, when I talked to people from other parts of Indiana, I just told them that I lived in Cincinnati. Now that I do actually live in Cincinnati, I have to tell people that I'm from Indiana, but "just-over-the-border" Indiana, not "far-away-like-Indianapolis" Indiana.

honors experiences in the Biomedical Research and Mentoring Program (which you can read more about under the "Year 1" and "Year 2" tabs), and my experience in the Summer Undergraduate Mentorship Fellowship (SURF) program, found in "Year 2" and "Year 3". As I finish up my final semester in my undergraduate career here at UC, I am looking forward to continuing my education in biomedical research as a Ph.D. student in the UC Cancer and Cell Biology Graduate program, beginning this summer. My research endeavors over the last four years have been the most formative experiences of my time at UC and I can't wait to grow and expand on that knowledge as I pursue a graduate degree.
As I finish up my last year here (as an undergrad) at UC, I am excited to make new connections, explore new interests, and continue to refine my goals for the future. Feel free to look over the rest of my portfolio, and see how my story has progressed.
(P.S. I love plants, especially succulents! Every background picture on my portfolio is a photo from my own succulent collection.)
